Booking accommodation with your registration

Accommodation bookings have now closed. Please contact your preferred hotel to make a booking directly. Any accommodation costs are in addition to your conference fee.

Conference hotels have now been provided a record of existing bookings. Please contact the conference secretariat, Expert Events at IFTA-Conference-Secretariat@ATAA.asn.au if you require further assistance.

Arrival time

Please indicate your estimated time of hotel arrival during the booking process. If you wish to guarantee your room is ready before the hotel check-in time it is recommended that you book and pay for the room for the evening prior to your arrival. Failure to advise your arrival time if arriving after 18:00 may mean that your room will be released.

Payment for accommodation

A credit card number is required at the time of booking. This will be passed on to the hotel to guarantee your booking. Accommodation providers have varying deposit and guarantee requirements (see the conditions attached to each hotel below). A wider range of credit cards are available for accommodation payment (including Diners and American Express). After the booking is established your credit card guarantee will be managed by the accommodation provider. If you wish the hotel to settle your account with a credit card of which you are not the signatory, you must provide written authority to the hotel to do so. You may prepay the full amount of your accommodation via EFT (bank transfer) directly to the hotel within 30 days prior to check in. Please contact the conference secretariat, Expert Events at IFTA-Conference-Secretariat@ATAA.asn.au if you require a pro-forma tax invoice for prepayment.

Car parking: Valet parking is available for all guests staying in house. Arrive at our entrance, 339 Pitt St and our team will Valet your car. The fee is $70/24 hours, multi entry.

If you choose to settle your account by bank transfer, please insert PRO-FORMA INVOICE in the special requirements field on the accommodation booking form. The funds must be deposited in advance of arrival at the hotel. A copy of the transaction must be provided via email to the hotel Accounts Receivable team on ar@primushotelsydney.com.

If you wish the hotel to settle your account with a credit card of which you are not the signatory, please contact the conference secretariat for a third party credit card form.

All incidental charges incurred during your stay are your own responsibility and must be settled on check-out.

Credit card service fees: Visa or MasterCard credit and debit cards 0.8% surcharge, domestic American Express 0.8% surcharge (issued to residents of Australia) and 2.5% surcharge for non-resident American Express card holders, Diners Card, JCB and Union Pay Card.

Cancellation policy: All cancellations must be advised by email to the Conference Secretariat. Any cancellations made within 30 – 15 days of arrival will incur a one night cancellation fee. Any cancellations made within 14 of arrival, including “no shows”, are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the confirmed booking. Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card provided as a guarantee upon booking.

The hotel is a short walk from Town Hall Station. The recently refurbished Metro Brasserie and Café offers both a-la-carte and buffet breakfast, plus a-la-carte lunch. Car parking: Car parking is available at World Square Secure Parking located at the World Square building. The car park is accessible from the corner of Goulburn Street and Pitt Street. Once you park your vehicle, please bring your ticket to our hotel reception to validate. The charges are $40.00 for 24hours – for one entry and one exit.
